How To Succeed on V Day? Give Women What They Really Want
New Survey Gets to the Heart of the Matter

(NAPA, Calif. – February 2007) The Meritage Resort at Napa recently surveyed guests to get to the heart of what women really want for Valentine’s Day and the results are in – a “romantic getaway” was the clear front-runner, followed by a massage, jewelry, wine, lingerie, and last but not least chocolates, (with just 17 votes). The short online survey was completed last week by 270 female, mostly Bay Area residents.

“It’s always a good idea to get a few hints before this particular holiday,” says the new property’s General Manager Michael Lennon. “I know I’ve made some stunning bloopers in the past, so when our marketing team suggested the survey, I for one thought it was a great idea.”

Women who completed the survey were entered in a drawing to win (you guessed it) a romantic weekend getaway for two at The Meritage Resort at Napa, complete with in-room massage.
