From The Meritage to the Marketplace: Farmer's Markets In Napa
While you’re lavishing in the peaceful luxury of the Meritage Resort and Spa, remember to take time off to explore the wealth of fresh bounty ready for you at farmers’ markets all around the Napa Valley. Not only will you be supporting local farmers and the local economy, but from spring to fall you can reap the rewards of nature’s lush cornucopia—seasonal fruit, walnuts, honey, vegetables, flowers, jellies, nuts, fine cheeses and chocolates, and much more. It’s perfect for an impromptu picnic, or sumptuous gifts to bring home to friends, family, or your own kitchen! Enjoy!
CHEFS’ MARKET
It’s considered to be one of the most popular events in downtown Napa, as it has been for over 15 years. The highly anticipated Chefs’ Market opens May 21st and runs through July 30th, every Thursday from 5:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m. There’s live entertainment—something for every member of the family. Chefs’ demos feature scrumptious samples and wine pairings from downtown tasting rooms; plus there are delicious samples from local restaurants and beer and wine booths. Food! Food! And more food! It’s savory and fun, and there’s even a certified Farmer’s Market inside.
