NAPA VALLEY’S LUXURY MERITAGE RESORT NAMES SPA DIRECTOR
Skilled industry professional will direct the debut of the lavish Spa Terra, one of the world’s first underground spas

(NAPA, Calif. – January 2007) When The Meritage Resort opens its landmark Spa Terra in February 2007, new Spa Director Victoria Boscarino will lead the design-forward resort facility located in California’s renowned Napa Valley.

Boscarino, a licensed massage therapist who has managed prominent spas in Northern and Central California, will oversee operations and staff at the innovative new underground cave spa. She comes to Spa Terra from Napa Valley Marriott’s Amadeus Spa, where, as spa director, she supervised a staff of forty and developed a strong base of local and San Francisco Bay area clients. In addition to developing and implementing new standards and policies, Boscarino led marketing efforts and nearly doubled retail sales. Prior to that position, she managed spa and salon operations at Bernardus Lodge in Carmel Valley.

One of the world’s first underground spa facilities, Spa Terra is tucked into a vineyard hillside beneath Napa’s famous Grape Crusher statue. The 9,000-square-foot structure features serene treatment rooms and a full menu of sumptuous services. Stone grottos and underground pools add to the spa’s mystique; guests can also escape to an array of “relaxation niches” artistically carved into the walls.

Drawing inspiration from the spa’s magnificent location, Boscarino is developing an impressive range of treatment options and packages.
