A Day of Wine Tasting in Napa Valley… Just for You.

Enjoy an exclusive day of wine tasting created just for guests of The Meritage Resort. Your Napa Valley wine tasting excursion includes visits to three premier wineries, a picnic lunch created by The Meritage Resort’s Executive Chef and door-to-door transportation on The Meritage Shuttle.

From the resort you travel up famous Highway 29 to Grgich Hills Estate Winery for a wine and artisan cheese pairing. This special tasting includes special selection wines and featured library selections served in the Grgich Hills Estate Library Salon or Olive Grove. Learn some of the wonderful history of this Napa winery while sampling some of their best wines. Today, they remain committed to making distinctive wines with quality, consistency and longevity.

Next, you travel across the valley floor to Silverado Trail and Pine Ridge Vineyards for a tasting and picnic lunch. Begin with the “Taste on the Terrace” which is designed for wine lovers. This self-guided tasting includes four appellation wines. Their welcoming terrace sits under a shaded canopy with breathtaking views of the Stags Leap Palisades and is the perfect spot to enjoy your picnic lunch provided by the culinary team at The Meritage Resort.

After lunch, you will travel back down “The Trail” to The Meritage Resort for a custom flight of Trinitas Cellars wines paired with delectable chocolates.  Located 40 feet underground, our Estate Cave is home to Trinitas Cellars and offers this special wine and chocolate tasting. Then, finish off your wine country experience with a tour through our own hillside vineyards at The Meritage Resort and Spa.

Our Napa Valley tasting experience is $160 per person, inclusive of tax. Reservations must be made by 4 p.m. on Friday before the Saturday tour and is based on availability. The shuttle departs promptly at 10 a.m. from The Meritage Resort and the last tasting will end around 4 p.m.
